The Block: The Art Reveal

My recap of the initial art reveal with Block contestant Rachel.

The Block is an Australian reality TV renovation competition series, and from what I have heard, if you are an artist and your work gets on the show, this is a pretty big career boost!

Since working with Haus Creative Group and Brad Turner, I soon realised that through hard work and creating pieces that capture the essence of two worlds coming together, these opportunities were real. 

Brad Turner and I worked on our first collection, “Back To Earth” in early April. Our first large scale artwork caught the attention of Art Lovers Australia. A few weeks later we received the call… our art will be on The Block! We had to pack our bags and prepare to fly down to Melbourne the next day to deliver the artwork. 

Reality set in and I quickly realised how amazing this opportunity was going to be, my emotions came over me and I couldn't help but tear up and embrace the moment.
